Overview

ITAR-registered PCB assembly, built entirely in the United States

Ansync Circuits is a PCB assembly house registered under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Our facility, personnel, and data-handling practices keep controlled technical data inside an authorized US workflow - from the moment Gerbers, BOMs, and firmware references arrive through final shipment of the assembled board.

We build for defense primes, aerospace subcontractors, satellite programs, government labs, and industrial customers with dual-use hardware. The same SMT (surface mount technology) lines that assemble ISO 13485 medical devices handle ITAR work: jet-printed solder paste, high-precision Mycronic pick-and-place, 3D AOI (automated optical inspection) and X-ray inspection, and IPC-trained rework - all in one California building, under one quality system.

Why Ansync

Built for the compliance posture defense and aerospace require

US-Only Workflow

No offshore steps

Design, procurement, assembly, inspection, and testing all happen at our California facility - a baseline requirement for most defense programs.

Traceability

Full as-built record

Batch-level component traceability and travelers give each assembly the documentation a program audit expects.

Inspection

3D AOI + X-Ray

Every board runs through 3D AOI and, when required, 3D X-ray - helping catch BGA and QFN defects before shipment.

Quality System

ISO 9001 + 13485

The same quality-management discipline that supports medical devices applies to ITAR work - process control, change management, and corrective action built in.

Capabilities

Full-service ITAR PCB assembly, from first run to production

Design for manufacturability, SMT and through-hole assembly, prototype builds, 3D AOI and X-ray inspection, functional testing, and IPC-trained rework - all under one roof.

01

Design

Custom PCB Design

Schematic capture and layout optimized for manufacturability, reliability, and cost.

02

Assembly

SMT and Through-Hole

High-mix and complex assemblies with accurate, repeatable results across volumes.

03

Prototyping

First-Run PCBs

Fast small and mid-run prototype builds to validate designs and refine processes.

04

Inspection

3D AOI and X-Ray

Automated optical and 3D X-ray inspection catch defects early and verify hidden joints.

05

Testing

Functional Testing

We perform functional testing using your documentation and fixtures before shipment.

06

Rework

PCB Rework and Repair

IPC-trained technicians handle component replacement, solder correction, and troubleshooting.

Programs

ITAR PCB assembly, broken out by program type

Defense

ITAR PCB assembly for defense primes and subcontractors

Direct support for defense primes and their subcontractors - controlled document handling, US-only workflow, and traceability records that carry through program-level audits.

Aerospace

Aerospace PCB assembly

Aerospace PCB assembly with the documentation, traceability, and process control that aerospace customers require on every build.

Space

Satellite and space-program PCB assembly

Satellite and space-hardware PCB assembly under the same ITAR registration and quality system that carries our defense work.

Government

Government lab and research PCB assembly

PCB assemblies for federal research labs and government programs working with controlled or export-restricted technical data under ITAR.

Certifications

The certifications behind ITAR-grade PCB assembly

ITAR registration alone is not enough for defense and aerospace programs. We back it with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IPC-trained assembly, and fully domestic manufacturing - and run all four as one quality system.

FAQ

ITAR PCB assembly - frequently asked questions

Is Ansync Circuits ITAR registered?
Yes. Ansync Circuits is ITAR registered with the U.S. Department of State and builds PCB assemblies for defense, aerospace, and government customers, including programs that involve defense articles and technical data covered by ITAR.
What does ITAR-registered PCB assembly mean for my program?
It means we meet the International Traffic in Arms Regulations requirements for handling, storing, and communicating technical data covered by ITAR. Gerbers, BOMs, firmware references, and assembled hardware for defense and aerospace builds stay within an authorized US workflow at every step.
Is all assembly performed in the United States?
Yes. All PCB design, component placement, inspection, and testing occur at our California facility. We do not offshore assembly steps - a hard requirement for most defense and aerospace customers.
Which industries do you build ITAR PCBs for?
Defense primes and subcontractors, aerospace, satellite and space hardware, government research labs, and dual-use industrial programs that require a US-based ITAR-registered assembler.
Do you combine ITAR handling with medical-grade quality systems?
Yes. Our facility is ITAR registered, ISO 9001 certified, and ISO 13485 certified, with IPC-trained technicians. The same traceability and process control that supports medical device builds applies to defense programs.
How do you handle traceability on ITAR jobs?
Every component is tracked from incoming batch to final placement. Travelers, batch-level records, and pre-placement value checks give each assembly a complete as-built record.
